Commencement of 3 major projects in Tan Hung, Nam Dong, Thach Khoi wards and Gia Loc commune

The three projects that have started construction are group B projects, built in the wards and communes of Tan Hung, Nam Dong, Thach Khoi and Gia Loc.

Comrade Le Van Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council and delegates performed the groundbreaking ceremony of the projects.

On the morning of August 19, in Tan Hung ward, Hai Phong City People's Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for 3 projects including: Investment project to build a bridge over Thai Binh river and access road belonging to Ring Road I from Provincial Road 391 to Provincial Road 390C; Project to build a bypass road of National Highway 37 (the section connecting Thong Nhat bridge, National Highway 37 with Ring Road I) and Project to build a Martyrs' Temple and cultural park.

These are group B projects built in the communes of Tan Hung, Nam Dong, Thach Khoi and Gia Loc.

The project to build an overpass over the Thai Binh River and the approach road of the I beltway from provincial road 391 to provincial road 390C, 2.5 km long, with a total investment of more than 1,228 billion VND . The project will gradually complete the I beltway according to the plan, expand urban space and connect communes and wards in the West Hai Phong area; promote socio- economic development of the West Hai Phong area and the city.

The National Highway 37 bypass (the section connecting Thong Nhat Bridge, National Highway 37 with Ring Road I) has an investment of 612 billion VND. After completion, it will reduce the load on National Highway 37, and at the same time form a connecting route from the center of Gia Loc commune to the old Ring Road I of Hai Duong city and provincial roads in the area, gradually completing the regional traffic infrastructure; expanding the space for urban development.

The Project to Build a Martyrs Temple and Cultural Park is built on an area of about 2.5 hectares with an investment of 200 billion VND, a place to worship and honor the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed in the struggle for independence for the Fatherland; demonstrating the tradition of "remembering the source of drinking water" of the Party Committee, government and people of the city, creating a space for socio-cultural development, contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism for generations.

On the morning of August 19, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Government organized an online groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony for 250 works and projects at 80 locations nationwide.

Hai Phong City People's Committee has selected 9 projects and works in the area to organize groundbreaking and inauguration, including:

1. Inauguration of the May Chai Bridge Project and the access roads on both sides of the bridge.
2. Groundbreaking ceremony of T2 Passenger Terminal Project - Cat Bi International Airport.
3. Groundbreaking ceremony of the resettlement area construction project for the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project.
4. Commencement of the project to invest in building a traffic route connecting National Highway 17B with Dinh Bridge.
5. Commencement of the investment project to build a bridge over the Thai Binh River and the access road of the beltway I section from provincial road 391 to provincial road 390C.
6. Commencement of the project to build the National Highway 37 bypass connecting Thong Nhat Bridge, National Highway 37 with Ring Road I.
7. Groundbreaking ceremony for the project to build a martyrs' temple and cultural park.
8. Inauguration of the Dong Viet Bridge approach road construction project connecting to National Highway 37.
9. Inauguration of Hai Duong Maternity Hospital Phase II Construction Investment Project
