- On June 24, in Van Quan district, Dan Tri Newspaper coordinated with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Department of Home Affairs and the People's Committee of Van Quan district to organize the groundbreaking ceremony to build 6 charity houses for households with housing difficulties in Van Quan and Loc Binh districts, with a total budget of more than 554 million VND supported by Dan Tri Newspaper.
During the program, the representative of Dan Tri Newspaper presented a financial support plaque to 4 families in Van Quan district worth 362 million VND, including Mr. and Mrs. Hoang Thi Nit, residing in Tri Le commune; Nong Van Chung, residing in Lien Hoi commune; Be Van Hieu, residing in Huu Le commune; Hoang Thi Y, residing in Khanh Khe commune.
The households receiving support in Loc Binh district include Mr. Hoang Van Nho and Mr. Hoang Van Thang, both residing in San Vien commune, with a total support budget of more than 192 million VND.
Previously, in December 2024, Dan Tri Newspaper supported 4 poor households with housing costs in Van Quan district worth 400 million VND and supported the construction of 2 classrooms in Van An commune, Chi Lang district worth nearly 500 million VND.
It is known that in the past time, with the support of readers, Dan Tri Newspaper has started to build 143 charity houses, of which 125 have been completed and put into use; built 31 bridges; 57 classrooms for people in provinces across the country, including Lang Son province.
Within the framework of the program, the leaders of Dan Tri Newspaper awarded 20 scholarships to students, each worth 500 thousand VND.
