At the An Giang Provincial Party Committee Office, the conference was chaired by Central Party Committee member, Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee Le Hong Quang.

The conference focused on evaluating and discussing the results of the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement work in the first 6 months of the year, deploying key tasks in the last 6 months of 2025; the results of digital transformation of the Party inspection sector in the first 6 months of the year, and directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Central Inspection Commission and the Inspection Commissions of localities and units have comprehensively and effectively implemented the tasks prescribed by the Party Charter and the tasks assigned by Party committees and Steering Committees on corruption prevention and control, waste and negativity at all levels; the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of inspection and supervision work have been increasingly improved.

226 cases of complaints and denunciations that have been prolonged and escalated to the Central level have been resolved; the work of appraisal, valuation and asset recovery has brought about many positive results. In the first 6 months of the year, Party committees at all levels have inspected according to Article 30 of the Party Charter, inspected 10,151 Party organizations and 55,376 Party members; inspected and disciplined 2 Party organizations and 7 Party members; inspected 153 Party organizations and 655 Party members when there were signs of violations. Inspection committees at all levels inspected 412 Party organizations and 1,559 Party members when there were signs of violations. Through inspections, conclusions have been drawn and strict handling of Party organizations and Party members who violated, including comrades holding key positions in the Party, the State, and key leaders of localities and units, with the spirit of strictness from top to bottom, with no "forbidden zones" and no exceptions.

Speaking at the conference, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the inspection and supervision sector in the first 6 months of the year. At the same time, he requested that in the coming time, the inspection and supervision sector proactively advise, coordinate, and ensure the quality and timely implementation of tasks assigned by the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, Party committees at all levels, the Central Steering Committee and provincial steering committees on corruption prevention and control, waste and negativity. Continue to strongly innovate the thinking, methods and ways of organizing inspection and supervision work; link inspection and supervision work with power control; Build an effective monitoring mechanism, capable of early warning and preventing violations right from the grassroots, not allowing small violations to accumulate into serious violations... Effectively deploy inspection and supervision work on hot issues of public concern, such as: State management of land, minerals, energy, food safety... Focus on performing well the inspection and supervision work to serve the organization of Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
