Commencement of Construction and Business Project of Technical Infrastructure of Cat Hiep Industrial Cluster

(GLO)- On the morning of August 19, at Hoi Van village (Hoa Hoi commune, Gia Lai province), Sunley Vietnam Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Cat Hiep Industrial Cluster Technical Infrastructure Construction and Business Project.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Dang Vinh Son - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Siu Huong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province, Hoa Hoi commune and some neighboring localities.

The Cat Hiep Industrial Cluster Infrastructure Construction and Business Project, invested by Sunley Vietnam Co., Ltd., has an area of 50 hectares with a total investment of over 248 billion VND.

The Project's objective is to attract businesses, cooperatives, and production facilities to invest in production and business activities with main items being household appliances, interior and exterior furniture made from wood, imitation wood, and imitation rattan plastic.

The project is expected to be completed and put into use in July 2026; creating jobs for about 500-600 workers, gradually standardizing the local highly qualified workforce.

Thereby, improving people's living standards, contributing to increasing budget revenue, promoting local economic development; at the same time, preparing technical infrastructure conditions to serve the development of industry and handicrafts in the area, contributing to the good implementation of state management of industry, construction and environmental protection.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich emphasized: The implementation of the Cat Hiep Industrial Cluster Infrastructure Construction and Business Project not only affirms the strength of the investor, but also opens up opportunities for the province in job creation and socio-economic development.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also committed that Gia Lai province will accompany the investor in the process of implementing the Project. At the same time, he requested the investor to fulfill its commitment to ensure the Project's progress; departments, branches, and localities continue to support and closely coordinate with the investor in the implementation process to soon put the Project into operation to solve jobs for local workers, as well as build the Project into an investment attraction, creating momentum for economic development.

Emphasizing the potential and advantages of land resources and marine ecosystems of the province after the merger, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich hopes that businesses will continue to invest in new projects to contribute to the locality in solving employment, creating momentum to promote socio-economic development, ensuring social security, national defense and security in the area.
