The new 35-hectare subdivision of The Grand Ho Tram includes a 5-star hotel system, resort villas, entertainment facilities, casino, international convention and exhibition center... with more than 6,000 rooms, serving about 18,000 guests per day. This is part of the overall 164-hectare project, marking the next step in the overall expansion strategy of The Grand Ho Tram. The new subdivision contributes to increasing the total investment capital of the project to more than 4 billion USD with a scale of 9,000 rooms and a full range of services for resorts, entertainment, conferences, and international exhibitions in Southeast Asia.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province Nguyen Van Tho highly appreciated the pioneering role of The Grand Ho Tram project in attracting domestic and foreign investment into the Ho Tram area, contributing to effectively exploiting and promoting the rich resources of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, creating a unique tourist area with diverse international-class services.

“In particular, the project is invested by Warburg Pincus, a leading US financial group, demonstrating the strong confidence of US investors in Vietnam's policies, investment environment, market potential and sustainable development,” the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized.
Affirming that tourism and services are one of the four economic pillars of the province, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that in recent times, the province has focused resources on investing in completing the intra-provincial transport system and regional connectivity to ensure smooth and synchronous operation. The investor's groundbreaking of the project today is the result of the commitment and efforts in promoting the development of the tourism and services industry.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that investors "have made efforts, then continue to make even more efforts". During the construction process, they must strictly comply with the provisions of the law on construction investment, ensure labor safety, fire prevention and fighting, environment and aesthetics of the construction area. Focus resources on implementing the project quickly, ahead of schedule, put it into operation soon, provide more new quality products and services to serve tourists. The provincial government is committed to always accompany, ready to support, remove difficulties, and create the most favorable conditions for investors to implement the project.

The Grand Ho Tram is the flagship project of Lodgis Hospitality Holdings, a joint venture between Warburg Pincus Investment Fund and VinaCapital.

With over 6,000 rooms and the capacity to accommodate 18,000 guests in the new phase, when completed, The Grand Ho Tram will become a world-class integrated resort following the MICE model and one of the largest complexes of its kind globally,” Mr. Stuart Haine proudly said.
