"The Miss Vietnam contest is the only beauty contest organized by a prestigious newspaper, the mouthpiece of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. This is the primary difference that makes the Miss Vietnam contest different from other beauty contests. The next difference is that we have a plan to establish a panel of judges with expertise and prestige to meet the set criteria. We also have a new director, creating a new breeze for the contest.
