Prosecution of suspect who stabbed someone to death in a drinking place

On September 20, the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Nam Province Police said that the unit had just initiated a case, prosecuted the accused and temporarily detained Tran Hoang Phi (33 years old, in Tien My commune, Tien Phuoc district, Quang Nam) to investigate the act of murder.

According to the investigation results, at 10:30 p.m. on September 15, at a drinking place in Tien Ky Town (Tien Phuoc District), a conflict occurred between Tran Hoang Phi and NTB (29 years old, in Tien Canh Commune, Tien Phuoc District) leading to a fight.

During the fight, Phi stabbed B. with a knife and a beer bottle, causing serious injuries. Immediately afterwards, B. was taken to Quang Nam General Hospital for emergency treatment. However, due to the severity of his injuries, the victim died before reaching the hospital.

Upon receiving the information, Tien Phuoc District Police coordinated with Quang Nam Province Police to collect information, examine the scene, and arrest Phi. At 2:30 a.m. on September 16, Tran Hoang Phi surrendered to Tien Phuoc District Police.
