1. Keep a food diary.

Some foods that seem healthy can still affect your weight. For example, pure fruit juice is recommended daily, but choosing sweet, sugary fruits can cause a spike in blood sugar and increase calorie intake, making weight loss more difficult.

By keeping a food diary, you can easily track whether the foods and drinks you consume each day are high in sugar or salt. Adjusting your eating habits accordingly can then lead to more effective weight loss.

2. Stop eating at least three hours before going to bed.

Many people have a habit of eating dinner late or snacking late at night. This habit causes weight gain and needs to be corrected immediately. Nutritionists recommend finishing dinner at least three hours before bedtime to allow the body enough time to digest food.

Eating dinner early gives you enough time to burn off calories and prevents excess fat from accumulating.

3. Stress Management

When stressed, the body releases large amounts of the hormone cortisol, leading to the accumulation of visceral fat. Visceral fat accumulates around internal organs and is more harmful than subcutaneous fat, increasing the risk of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, stroke, and other health problems.

To relieve stress, you can practice yoga, meditate, take a walk, listen to music, or play any sport .

4. Get enough sleep.

Getting enough sleep helps regulate hormones that manage feelings of fullness and hunger. Lack of sleep makes you feel hungrier and crave food more, leading to uncontrolled weight gain. Health experts recommend sleeping 7-9 hours each night at a consistent time to stabilize your circadian rhythm.

5. HIIT workout

HIIT is a high-intensity interval training method that burns calories more effectively than conventional exercise. For example, instead of jogging for 30 minutes at a steady pace, you can switch to sprinting a short distance, resting for a few minutes, and then sprinting again, alternating between sprints and rests, for another 30 minutes.

HIIT helps people who have difficulty losing weight or who have experienced a weight plateau to improve their weight loss results.
