The Ha Long Bay Management Board has requested the police to investigate the fact that some tour service providers are advertising the fake Fantasy Ha Long Bay hotel to sell tours and combo tours to Ha Long.

In response to information about the appearance of a luxury hotel on Ha Long Bay spreading on social media, Deputy Head of Ha Long Bay Management Board (Quang Ninh) Pham Dinh Huynh affirmed that there are no hotels or architectural works on the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay.

The unit will have a written request for the police to investigate and clarify the case.

Since May 23, some tour and travel combo service providers have posted a hotel design called "Fantasy Ha Long Bay" to attract locals and tourists.

According to the 3D perspective, the hotel is located "back to the mountain", inside the core area of ​​Ha Long Bay Heritage. Some photos of the hotel rooms show that guests can enjoy a panoramic view of the bay thanks to the 360-degree glass door design. The hotel also has a large infinity pool overlooking the bay.

Immediately, personal Facebook pages and online communities shared the news widely. However, by the morning of May 25, many personal pages had time to correct the information.

According to the authorities, taking advantage of the image of this fake hotel, some individuals and organizations have offered tours and combo tours to Ha Long.

This is a fraudulent behavior, causing confusion for residents and tourists. The Tourism Industry recommends that people be careful to avoid being scammed.
