The University of Foreign Languages ​​(Vietnam National University, Hanoi ) is one of the universities with the highest entrance scores for English language majors nationwide. In 2023, using the high school graduation exam scores as the admission method, the English language major at the university had a cutoff score of 35.55, considering three subject combinations: D01, D78, and D90.

The expected tuition fee for the English Language major is 35,000,000 VND per academic year, and this fee remains unchanged from year to year.

In 2023, the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam admitted students through four methods: direct admission; admission based on academic transcripts combined with international certificates; admission based on interview scores combined with international certificates; and admission based on high school graduation exam scores. For the method based on high school graduation exam scores, the English Language major set the minimum admission score at 35.99 points (A01; D01; D07), an increase of nearly 1 point compared to last year.

The University of Foreign Languages ​​( Da Nang University) recruits students for the English Language major through 5 methods: direct admission, admission based on high school graduation exam scores, admission based on academic transcripts, admission based on the university's admission method, and admission based on the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's aptitude test scores.

This year, using the high school graduation exam scores as the admission cutoff score, this major has a minimum admission score of 23.22 points, with 4 subject combinations for admission: D01; A01; D96; D78. The academic transcript-based admission cutoff score is higher at 26.79 points.

In 2023, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages ​​- Information Technology set the admission cutoff score for the English Language major at 21.5 (English weighted by a factor of 2), with 4 subject combinations for admission: A01; D01; D14; D15. In addition to admission based on high school graduation exam scores, the university also considers high school transcripts and the aptitude test scores of the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Education recruits students for the English Language major through 5 methods: direct admission; priority admission and admission for students from specialized classes; admission based on academic transcripts combined with aptitude tests; admission based on academic transcripts; and admission based on high school graduation exam results.

Based on the high school graduation exam scores, this year the English Language major at the university has a cutoff score of 25.1 points for admission, accepting only the D01 group. The expected tuition fee for this major is 9,800,000 VND per academic year.
