Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park (Aurora IP), in Rang Dong town (Nghia Hung) with an area of nearly 520 hectares, has a "strategic" location directly connected to most routes in the Northern key economic region, easy access to highway infrastructure, inland and international waterways, railways; is the gateway connecting to the national key economic regions. In addition, the infrastructure of Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park is invested and developed synchronously, including internal traffic system, lighting system, clean water supply plant with a total design capacity of 170,000m3 /day and night. The wastewater treatment plant has a total design capacity of 110,000m3 /day and night. Logistics services optimize production costs and bring efficiency thanks to the seaport system connecting to the industrial park.
Located in Ninh Co Economic Zone, which is being submitted to the Government for approval by the province, Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park is being developed on a total area of nearly 2,200 hectares, including 3 phases. Accordingly, phase 1 will invest in producing 1 billion meters of fabric on an area of 519.6 hectares. Phase 2 will increase fabric output to 1.5 billion meters, completing the supply chain on an area of 850 hectares. Phase 3 will form a modern textile and fashion trade and service urban area on an area of 675 hectares.

The establishment and development of Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park is a correct and timely policy, one of the important and breakthrough solutions contributing to the positive shift in the economic structure of Nghia Hung district and creating a driving force for socio-economic development of Nghia Hung district in particular and Nam Dinh province in general. At the same time, it contributes to building Nghia Hung into a dynamic economic zone in the South of the province, an important growth pole of the province according to the Nam Dinh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister.
In previous years, in the context of the general difficulties of the COVID-19 pandemic and the world economic situation, investment attraction in Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park was still "modest". Recently, with the recovery of the world and domestic economy, along with the right policies and synchronous solutions of the province, up to now, Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park has attracted many large FDI investment projects, increasing the area occupancy rate to nearly 40%, with a total investment capital of nearly 400 million USD; expected to create jobs for nearly 10,000 workers. Typically: Top Textiles Co., Ltd. project, producing fabric products of Toray Group (Japan), with an area of 31.2 hectares; total investment of 203 million USD; total expected capacity of the entire project is 120 million meters of fabric/year; expected to create jobs for more than 3,000 workers. Yi Da Denim Mill (VN) Co., LTD project, of Crystal Group, Hong Kong (China), total investment capital of 60 million USD, with an area of over 24.1 hectares; expected annual capacity of the project is 55 million m² of dyed fabric, 5 million m² of undyed fabric and 20 million clothing products... (the project is expected to expand to 200 million USD). Jehong Textile Enunic waterless dyeing factory project (Taiwan), focusing on the field of finished fabric dyeing and woven fabric production; total investment capital of over 6 million USD, with an area of 3.06 hectares; expected average capacity of 16.5 million m/year, of which cotton fabric dyeing capacity is 9.9 million m/year and polyester fabric dyeing capacity is 6.6 million m/year, creating jobs for more than 320 workers. Sanbang Pte. Ltd (Singapore), producing towels, woven fabrics, DTY yarn, with a total investment of nearly 30 million USD; with an area of over 10.3 hectares; expected annual capacity of 15 thousand tons of towels, 14 million meters of woven fabrics, 15 thousand tons of DTY yarn. Xielong Garment Factory Project (China), producing mesh fabrics, shoe soles, with a total investment of 40 million USD, with an area of 6.13 hectares; expected annual capacity of the project is 8.872 million kg of mesh fabrics and 31.5 million pairs of shoe-shaped mesh fabrics (shoe soles)... These projects have been licensed, are being implemented and will soon be put into operation.

In addition, the province has approved the policy of receiving the medical glove production project of Binh An Medical Company Limited at Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park with a total registered capital of 150 million USD... The projects coming into operation will create more jobs, contributing to the shift of the labor force from agriculture to industry in the locality, thereby having positive impacts on socio-economic development.
Implementing the policy of “Greening” the textile industry to solve environmental issues and sustainable development, Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park will gradually remove the industry’s bottlenecks in the dyeing and weaving stage, contributing to the development of a sustainable source of input materials for the Vietnamese textile industry in the long term. At the same time, it is the continuation and development of the traditional textile industry, making Nam Dinh province one of the major textile and fashion centers of the country.
