The most "tough" admission area in Hanoi in the 2025 public 10th grade exam

(Dan Tri) - With nearly 13,000 applications for first choice and 6 schools in the top 10 with the highest competition rates in the city, this is the "hottest" enrollment area for the 10th grade entrance exam season in Hanoi in 2025.

Admission area number 3 includes schools in the three districts of Cau Giay, Thanh Xuan, and Dong Da, which have the highest competition rate in the city.

This area has 6,880 targets but there are 12,495 applications for the first choice. The total of all 3 choices is 24,067 registrations.

Notably, in the top 10 high schools with the highest competition rates in the city, 6 schools are in enrollment area 3 including: Yen Hoa, Kim Lien, Dong Da, Cau Giay, Khuong Ha, Nhan Chinh.

Although Yen Hoa High School has the highest 10th grade entrance score in Hanoi in 2024, the appeal of this year's admission season has not diminished. The school continues to lead the city with a competition ratio of 1/2.44.

The admission area with the most candidates registered is area 6, which includes schools located in the three districts of Dong Anh, Me Linh, and Soc Son. The number of candidates registering for the first choice in the area is 14,166 and the total number of candidates registering for the three choices is 41,951.

However, because there are 17 high schools in this area, the competition ratio is at a comfortable level, ranging from 0.74-1.75.

Admission area No. 7, including schools in Nam Tu Liem district, Hoai Duc district and Dan Phuong district, is also in the top 3 areas with the most registered candidates. The number of first choices in this area is 12,913. The total number of 3 choices is 31,184.

Considering the competition ratio by admission area, Phan Dinh Phung School leads area number 1, Tran Phu School leads area number 2, Yen Hoa School leads area number 3.

Topping the competition ratio in the admission areas from 4 to 12 are the following schools: Ngo Thi Nham, Yen Vien, Quang Minh, Hoai Duc C, Quang Oai, Minh Ha, Le Quy Don (Ha Dong), Phu Xuyen B and My Duc B.
