Kia Seltos reduced by 55 million, "racing" Mitsubishi Xforce sales
This July 2025, distributor THACO is applying a preferential program for Kia car models, among which Kia Seltos attracts attention with a discount of up to 55 million VND.

Specifically, customers who buy the new generation Kia Seltos B-size CUV in Vietnam in July 2025 will receive a discount of 30 - 55 million VND. Of which, the standard 1.5L AT version will receive a discount of 30 million VND. The 1.5L Premium, 1.5 Turbo GT-Line, 1.5 Deluxe and 1.5 Turbo Deluxe versions all receive a discount of 40 million VND. The highest discount of up to 55 million VND is applied to the two versions 1.5L Luxury and 1.5 Turbo Luxury.
After the promotion, the actual selling price of Kia Seltos ranges from 569 million to 724 million VND. With this starting price, Seltos is about 30 million VND cheaper than the standard listed price of competitors such as Skoda Kushaq, Hyundai Creta and Mitsubishi Xforce. The mid-life upgraded version of Kia Seltos will be launched in the Vietnamese market in 2024. In the new upgrade, the car has been refined in both design and equipment, especially safety features. In terms of appearance, the car has the brand's signature tiger nose grille extended with LED lights combined with flow effect turn signals.... The body has a sporty , individual design with embossed ribs, creating a dynamic, youthful overall look, 17-inch two-tone rims.
The car has amenities such as: 8-way power driver's seat, front seat cooling, digital dashboard and central touch screen both measuring 10.25 inches, panoramic sunroof, interior decorative lighting, rear sunshades, air filtration system,... The most advanced version of Kia Seltos owns the ADAS active safety system, including the following features: Forward Collision Avoidance Warning and Assist (FCA); Smart Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go (SCC); Lane Following Warning and Assist (LFA); or Lane Keeping Warning and Assist (LKA) ... Under the hood of the Kia Seltos are two engine options. The first is a 1.5L, naturally aspirated, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces a maximum capacity of 113 horsepower and a maximum torque of 144 Nm. The engine comes with a CVT gearbox and FWD front-wheel drive. The second is a 1.5L, turbocharged, 4-cylinder gasoline engine, with a maximum capacity of 158 horsepower and a maximum torque of 253 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and FWD drive system. In addition, the car also has 3 driving modes: Eco, Normal, Sport and 3 terrain modes: Snow, Mud and Sand.
The deep discount for the Kia Seltos model takes place in the context of fierce competition in the B-size CUV segment in Vietnam with the presence of many new car models and stimulus strategies from car manufacturers. The emergence of Skoda Kushaq and Mitsubishi Xforce in the past year has forced names like Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos to regularly adjust their sales policies to maintain market share.
