According to reports from departments, branches, localities and event organizers, up to this point, with close coordination and serious and urgent construction progress, the main stage for the opening of the 2024 Peace Festival at the Hien Luong - Ben Hai National Historical Site has completed 90% of the work, ensuring the set schedule.
Currently, the event organizer continues to complete items such as LED lights, sound, lighting... then focuses on ensuring safe operation of the power grid, checking stage standards and other technical issues.
The team of actors and artists participating in the performance at the Special Art Program Opening the 2024 Festival for Peace has begun practicing here. Along with that, the traffic diversion work was planned and implemented by the Department of Transport and the Provincial Police to ensure security, order and traffic safety inside and outside the event area and surrounding roads; regularly arrange forces to be ready to handle any unexpected situations that may arise.
Along with the preparation of content and technical services for the program, other tasks such as: environmental landscape cleaning, hanging billboards, banners, electricity and water systems, logistics... have also been carefully implemented by the units.
At the inspection session, delegates exchanged, discussed and gave their opinions on a number of contents related to the preparation for organizing activities such as ensuring security and order, traffic safety, traffic diversion and regulation, ensuring food hygiene and safety, implementing environmental sanitation well; reception and celebration work; arranging working areas for reporters and press...
Through the inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam highly appreciated the urgent working spirit and the smooth coordination of the units and localities. Emphasizing the importance of the Festival for Peace as an opportunity to introduce and promote the land and people of Quang Tri, attract domestic and international tourists, gradually build Quang Tri into a cultural space, a destination for peace, contributing to making tourism soon become a key economic sector. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the units to urgently complete all preparations so that the Festival's activities can be organized solemnly, thoughtfully and safely.
Pay special attention to ensuring security and order, traffic safety, environmental sanitation, fire prevention and fighting; there should be plans for parking lots; plans for fireworks... to ensure absolute safety, creating a good impression on people and visitors participating in the Festival. Media agencies need to propagate so that people know the time of the Opening Ceremony, arrange to arrive early to stabilize their positions. In addition, departments, branches, and localities urgently focus on implementing the remaining tasks, ensuring the progress and plans set out so that the Program takes place solemnly, thoughtfully and successfully.
The 2024 Peace Festival with the theme "Joining hands to build a peaceful world" will open at 8:00 p.m. on July 6 at the Hien Luong-Ben Hai National Historical Site.
