Fire prevention and fighting inspection at commune police

On the morning of May 7, a working delegation from the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of An Giang Provincial Police inspected and comprehensively implemented all aspects of work at My Long Ward Police Station (Long Xuyen City), on the occasion of the Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene in 2025.

The working group inspected the consultation on directive documents and implementation of fire prevention, firefighting and rescue work of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Public Security , and the Provincial Police for residential areas, households combining production and business, and establishments under their management; the results of implementing directives and plans on this work; the establishment of "Fire Prevention and Firefighting Inter-Family Teams", "Public Firefighting Points"; difficulties and obstacles in performing tasks.

The ward police advise the ward People's Committee to develop a plan and deploy it to all officers, soldiers of units, departments, branches, organizations, hamlet chiefs, and related units to properly perform their State management responsibilities on fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue; review and inspect fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue safety for facilities in accordance with regulations... In 2024, the unit will expand and establish 7 "Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Inter-Family Teams". In 2025, continue to deploy and establish more according to the guiding criteria. Up to now, about 3,000/4,443 households are equipped with portable fire extinguishers; 100% of officers, workers, and civil servants in departments, branches, and units under the ward People's Committee; families of officers and soldiers of the ward police are equipped with fire extinguishers...
