(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Recently, the People's Committee of Binh Hung Hoa B Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City, inspected and discovered 7 tutoring centers operating without proper licenses.
The most recent inspection by the inspection team of the People's Committee of Binh Hung Hoa B Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City, took place unexpectedly on the evening of December 20th at several locations suspected of organizing extracurricular tutoring in the area.

At a location near Ngo Quyen Primary School in Binh Tan District, the inspection team observed a teacher from the school keeping a group of students at her home after school hours while waiting for their parents to pick them up. The inspection team requested that the teacher cease organizing after-school childcare activities that violate regulations.
Another location owned by a teacher from Vinh Loc High School is used for tutoring and renting out rooms for these classes.
Here, this teacher organizes three tutoring classes with approximately 50 students, including regular students from the school. In addition, several other teachers from the school also provide tutoring here, including regular students.
The inspection team noted that the location had a license to establish an educational company and possessed fire extinguishers, but at the time of inspection, the company sign was not displayed at the registered address, and there was no fire safety plan in place to comply with regulations.
Reportedly, the People's Committee of Binh Hung Hoa B ward has recently inspected and discovered 7 tutoring centers operating without proper licenses.
The People's Committee of the ward conducted an inspection, issued warnings, and requested these establishments to cease operations, close down, and remove their signs.
The ward leaders also coordinated with the ward police to monitor, remind, and request that establishments operating without licenses close down.
Hand over unlicensed tutoring centers to neighborhood committees for monitoring and supervision, and report promptly if these centers deliberately refuse to comply with closure orders.
The ward also requested the police to coordinate inspections of fire safety measures at all tutoring centers in the area.
The central districts of Ho Chi Minh City strictly prohibit teachers from giving extra lessons in violation of regulations.
According to a recently issued document on strengthening the management of teachers in the area, the Department of Education and Training of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, strictly prohibits teachers from giving extra lessons in violation of Circular No. 17 of the Ministry of Education and Training .

Specifically, the regulations stipulate that tutoring is not permitted in the following cases: tutoring for students who already receive two sessions of instruction per day from their school; and tutoring for primary school students, except for enrichment programs in arts, sports , and life skills.
The principal is directly responsible for managing the extracurricular tutoring activities of teachers at the school.
