Checking the transport business activities of Thanh Buoi bus company

Regarding the particularly serious traffic accident that killed 5 people on September 30, in Phu Loi commune, Dinh Quan district, Dong Nai , the Vietnam Road Administration has just issued a document requesting the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport to inspect all automobile transportation business activities of Thanh Buoi Company Limited.

Specifically, inspect compliance with regulations on business and conditions for transport business; in which, focus on inspecting the process of ensuring traffic safety in the unit's automobile transport business activities and handling violations according to regulations. Report the results of inspection and handling to the Vietnam Road Administration before October 15, 2023.

Also related to this accident, working with the police, the driver of the Thanh Buoi sleeper bus, Hoang Van Tinh, stated that at the time of the accident, Tinh had his driver's license revoked by Lam Dong Provincial Police for 3 months for speeding. However, this driver still drove and caused the above accident.
