On the morning of April 28, in Dien Bien Phu City, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and Deputy Minister of National Defense , chaired the inspection of the joint training of the military parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

This inspection is to evaluate the results and draw experience from joint training, as a basis for units to continue training forces participating in the parade and marching in the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory to achieve the best results.
On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong congratulated and commended the training and joint training achievements of the forces participating in the parade in Dien Bien Phu city.

"The time from now until the anniversary is approaching, requiring forces to concentrate with the highest responsibility and effort to successfully complete the parade and marching tasks, commensurate with the scale and stature of the event," Mr. Cuong emphasized.
Mr. Cuong also noted that the supporting forces must uphold their sense of responsibility, coordinate closely, and provide the best possible service in terms of food, accommodation, living conditions, disease prevention, and health care for the forces participating in the parade. Careful preparation must be made to ensure the best conditions for the grounds, facilities, and equipment throughout the training and joint training process.
