According to Mr. Ngo Thai Chan, the information on social networks needs to be verified, not knowing whether it is true or false, because the accused business is a reputable company, the food is quarantined very well, meeting standards when sold to the market. "We receive information and check the reality to respond to the people, so that people can worry less", Mr. Chan shared.


According to information on Facebook, Mr. LQN (born in 1985, residing in My Xuyen town, My Xuyen district, Soc Trang province) said that he used to be an employee of CP Freshop store on Trieu Nuong street, My Xuyen town, My Xuyen district. He said that the company mixed diseased pork, diseased chicken, and rotten meat... and then forced employees to sell it to the market...
During the inspection on the afternoon of May 30, Ms. Xuan Mai, the store manager, said that Mr. Ngan had quit his job many years ago. The content of his accusations on social media was untrue, seriously affecting the reputation of the business.


An officer of the interdisciplinary inspection team of Soc Trang province said that the inspection team inspected legal documents related to the business establishment on Trieu Nuong Street, My Xuyen Town, My Xuyen District (where Mr. Ngan used to work before) and inspected the goods available at the establishment including pork, processed pork products, chicken... The team clinically inspected the products with the stamp of the veterinary agency, the origin of the product, the expiration date... After completing the inspection, a report will be sent to the Provincial People's Committee.
Regarding the above information, at noon on May 30, Mr. Le Hoang Chuong, Communications Director of CP Vietnam Company, signed a press release to inform about the incident. Accordingly, the content of the announcement affirmed that the information from the Facebook account "Jonny Lieu" and the Zalo account "Ngan Tech" were fabricated and untrue with the purpose of defaming and causing damage to the company.
CP Vietnam said it is urgently coordinating with relevant agencies to clarify and handle the matter in accordance with regulations to protect the company's legitimate rights and strictly handle acts of slander and fabrication. CP Vietnam affirmed that all images attached to the articles are unclear in terms of origin and time and are not images of CP Vietnam's products.
"We affirm that the company's products comply with strict veterinary and product quality control procedures, ensuring food hygiene and safety. In response to this incident, the Company is urgently coordinating with the authorities to clarify and handle the matter in accordance with legal regulations to protect the Company's legitimate rights and to strictly handle acts of slander and fabrication," the document of the Government of Vietnam stated.
