Check the progress of implementation and support the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses.

On July 31, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and representatives of social and professional associations of Thai Nguyen province inspected and grasped the implementation of the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the communes of Phuc Loc, Dong Phuc, and Thanh Mai.

The Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee and representatives of the Emulation Bloc of provincial social and professional associations awarded 20 million VND to support households in especially difficult circumstances in Dong Phuc commune to remove temporary houses.

In localities, the provincial Fatherland Front leaders highly appreciated the active participation of Party committees, authorities and the effective coordination of social and professional organizations in mobilizing resources to care for the poor, overcoming difficulties to effectively carry out propaganda and support work to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

As of July 31, all three communes have started construction on 548 houses and disbursed support funds to ensure progress. All localities are striving to achieve the plan assigned by the province.

On this occasion, the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee and representatives of the Emulation Bloc of provincial social and professional associations presented 20 million VND/household to 3 households with especially difficult circumstances in Dong Phuc, Phuc Loc and Cho Ra communes.
