Kien Giang won 5 medals at the Southern Regional Karate National Championship

On April 10, Kien Giang Sports Training and Competition Center said that Kien Giang athletes competed quite successfully at the 4th Southern Regional Karate National Championship in 2025, winning 5 medals.

Twin athletes Huynh Ngoc Tien and Huynh Kim Tien brought home two gold medals in the 60kg and over 60kg categories for women in the 15-17 age group; athlete Nguyen Nhu Y won a silver medal in the 50kg category for women; two athletes Pham Hai Dang and Nguyen Ngoc Hue won bronze medals in the 62kg category for men and 65kg category for women, respectively.

The 4th Southern Regional Karate National Championship in 2025 is organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in coordination with the Vietnam Sports Administration.
