On September 18th, the People's Councils of Vinh Tuong, Tam Dao, and Tam Duong districts jointly elected three additional Chairmen of the District People's Committees for the 2021-2026 term. Specifically: Mr. Tran Thai Son (Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee) was elected Chairman of the Tam Dao District People's Committee. Mr. Dang Cong Hoa (Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee) was elected Chairman of the Tam Duong District People's Committee. Mr. Dam Huu Khanh (Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee) was elected Chairman of the Vinh Tuong District People's Committee.
On September 16-17, the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee announced the Standing Committee's decision on personnel matters in Vinh Tuong and Tam Dao districts. Accordingly, Mr. Ha Van Quyet ceased to hold the position of Chief of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council, and was transferred and appointed to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and as Secretary of the Vinh Tuong District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. Mr. Ha Van Quyet holds a PhD in agriculture , specializing in veterinary medicine. He previously served as Vice Chairman of the People's Committee and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Lap Thach District Party Committee; Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; and Chief of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council of Vinh Phuc province.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan has relinquished his position as Deputy Chief Inspector of the province; he has been transferred and appointed to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and as Secretary of the Tam Dao District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Previously, on September 10th, the Executive Committee of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee, 17th term, 2020-2025, held a conference to elect the Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. The conference discussed and unanimously agreed with the proposal from the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to nominate Mr. Bui Huy Vinh for this position. As a result, 100% of the delegates present voted in favor of electing Mr. Bui Huy Vinh as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term...
After a long period of lacking key leadership and management positions, Vinh Phuc province has recently been focusing on consolidating and electing additional personnel. At the end of March 2024, three key leaders (the Provincial Party Secretary, the Standing Deputy Provincial Party Secretary, and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee) were arrested in a case related to the Phuc Son Group, accused of accepting bribes. In addition, many officials at the departmental, sectoral, and district levels in the province were disciplined with warnings or reprimands for violating Party regulations and State laws, and for misconduct in implementing several investment projects related to the International Advanced Corporation (AIC), FLC Group, and Phuc Son Group.
