Also in the first seven months of 2025, Vietnam recorded 28 product categories with export turnover exceeding 1 billion USD, accounting for 91.7% of total export turnover (including 9 product categories with export turnover exceeding 5 billion USD, accounting for 72.3%).
Regarding the structure of export product groups, processed industrial goods reached US$232.37 billion, accounting for 88.6%; agricultural and forestry products reached US$22.4 billion, accounting for 8.5%; aquatic products reached US$6.08 billion, accounting for 2.3%; and fuels and minerals reached US$1.59 billion, accounting for 0.6%.
Regarding export markets, the United States is Vietnam's largest export market with a turnover of 85.1 billion USD. In the first seven months of 2025, the trade surplus with the United States reached 74.6 billion USD, an increase of 28.6% compared to the same period last year; the trade surplus with the EU was 22.3 billion USD, an increase of 9.9%; and the trade surplus with Japan was 1.3 billion USD, an increase of 21%.
