Representatives of the Provincial Business Association presented houses of gratitude to the poor in Nam Thanh ward, Dien Bien Phu city.

Mr. Bui Duc Giang, Chairman of the Provincial Association of Enterprises, said: As a focal point, gathering businesses, the Provincial Association of Enterprises regularly propagates and encourages members to build ethical standards and corporate culture; cares for workers and is responsible to society, accompanies the government in implementing programs and policies to ensure social security. Social security support activities are deployed with many rich and diverse contents and forms. Implementing the annual program, the Association and member businesses organize the donation of nearly 30,000 warm coats to children in difficult circumstances, in remote areas in the province; donated nearly 7,000 gifts to disabled children, orphans, and families in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival, Children's Day June 1, traditional Tet... Thereby, contributing to encouraging and motivating poor children and poor households to have more determination to excel in studying, working, and building their homeland. Responding to the Fatherland Front's call to support the Covid-19 epidemic prevention work, the Association called for the support of its members, the amount of donations up to nearly 5 billion VND including: Supporting the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund; supporting medical supplies, food, necessities for epidemic prevention and control and people who are being quarantined at medical facilities and concentrated quarantine areas; supporting doctors and nurses to go to Binh Duong to fight the epidemic...

Towards the poor, children and people in mountainous and ethnic minority areas, from 2018 to now, the Provincial Business Association has called on member businesses to support the construction of 3 commune and ward cultural houses; 5 meeting rooms and 12 gratitude houses; supported 20 sets of computers for students; supported electricity lines to light up mountainous and remote areas with a total value of nearly 20 billion VND. Member enterprises of the Provincial Association of Small and Medium Enterprises also actively participate in supporting major programs and events of the province such as: Hoa Ban Festival, Boat Racing Festival, fireworks display on the occasion of Lunar New Year... Typical enterprises include: Dien Bien Water Supply Joint Stock Company, Dien Bien Petroleum Company, Dien Bien Electricity Company, Construction and Trade Company No. 6, Hoa Ba Education and Trade Services Company Limited, Truong Thinh Joint Stock Company... Through social security activities, they not only contribute to sharing difficulties, encouraging the poor and policy beneficiaries to rise up, but also spread the spirit of responsibility to the social community widely in the business sector.

In order to continue to participate promptly and effectively in social security work in the coming time, the Provincial Business Association closely follows the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's and the province's policies on social security work, for community life to propagate and disseminate to member businesses. At the same time, continue to promote the role of a bridge between businesses and the government to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles to help businesses develop production and business. Thereby contributing to promoting socio -economic development, creating resources to contribute to the good implementation of social security work in the locality, especially in remote areas, ethnic minority areas with the motto "Business associated with social responsibility".
