Timely extinguished the fire, rescued 2 people

At around 4:28 a.m. on July 30, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police received a report of a fire at house number 564/2/15 Thong Nhat, An Hoi Dong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Immediately afterwards, the unit mobilized 2 fire trucks and 22 officers to the scene.

When the firefighters arrived, the front of the house was engulfed in flames and smoke, with two people trapped inside. Since the house had two entrances, the firefighters deployed firefighting and rescue operations in two directions from alley 564/2/2 and alley 564/2/15. Thanks to that, the fire was promptly extinguished at 4:35 a.m., and two people were safely brought out: Ms. NTTM, 65 years old, and Ms. Th., Ms. M.'s younger sister, 60 years old.

Thanks to the timely fire fighting, the area inside the house burned was about 6 square meters, and the fire fighting force prevented the fire from spreading to the remaining area and neighboring houses.

According to the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police, at more than 4:00 a.m. the same day, Ms. Hue, who was living opposite the house on fire, smelled a burning smell so she went to the balcony to check and discovered that the house opposite was on fire. Ms. Hue shouted and alerted everyone around.

Immediately afterwards, the neighbors, including Mr. Tran Quoc Bao, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Linh Giang, and Mr. Nguyen Van Son, used 3 portable fire extinguishers and 1 household water hose to initially put out the fire. Thanks to that, the fire developed more slowly, helping the professional fire brigade (Area 15) to quickly extinguish it.
