The third session of the People's Council of Phu Quoc Special Zone, term I

On October 23, the People's Council of Phu Quoc Special Zone held the 3rd session (special session) of the 1st term, 2021 - 2026, to consider, discuss, adjust and supplement the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 and 2025 of state budget capital in the area; give opinions on personnel work and a number of other issues under its authority. Attending the meeting was comrade Le Quoc Anh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone.

At the meeting, delegates approved a report on synthesizing voters' opinions on the plan to rename neighborhoods in Phu Quoc special economic zone.

At the same time, through the submissions: Renaming the neighborhood in Phu Quoc special zone; proposing to abolish Decision No. 01/QD-UBND, dated July 1, 2025 of the People's Committee of the special zone on the establishment of the Public Administration Service Center; establishing the Public Administration Service Center under the People's Committee of the special zone; deciding specifically on the staffing of cadres and civil servants in specialized agencies, administrative organizations and the number of people working with salaries from the budget in public service units under the People's Committee of the special zone; adjusting and supplementing the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 with State budget capital in Phu Quoc special zone; adjusting and supplementing the 2025 public investment plan with State budget capital in Phu Quoc special zone and the appraisal report of the Culture - Society Committee, the Economic - Budget Committee.

Delegates vote to elect Vice Chairman of the People's Council of the special zone.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the special zone, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Phu Quoc special zone Dang Thi Hong Gam presented congratulatory flowers.

At the meeting, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone Tran Minh Khoa approved the proposal on introducing personnel to submit to the People's Council of the Special Zone to consider electing comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Loan - Chief of Office of the People's Council and People's Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone - to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the Special Zone, term 2021 - 2026.

With 150/160 votes issued, reaching a rate of 93.75%; comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Loan was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Phu Quoc special zone.
