At the conference, Mr. La Van Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Bac Giang province, emphasized that the economic value of lychee in 2025 is estimated to reach nearly 5,000 billion VND. With an area of 29,700 hectares and an expected output of 165,000 tons, the quality of lychee this year is considered the highest ever thanks to favorable weather, a flowering rate of over 90% and strict control of 240 growing area codes according to VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards.
Bac Giang province has issued a trade promotion plan, supporting farmers with farming techniques, ensuring food safety and expanding export markets to more than 30 countries such as the US, EU, Japan, Korea, Australia and the Middle East. The province also promotes online consumption through e-commerce platforms (Buudien.vn, Shopee, Lazada) and social networks (TikTok, Facebook).
Mr. Nam called on supermarkets, e-commerce platforms and logistics units to cooperate closely and optimize transportation to ensure fresh lychees reach consumers, while committing to providing the best logistics services, from capital, warehousing to security and order.

Also at the conference, units such as Hong Xuan Cooperative, Viettel Post, RATRACO Railway Transport Company, Nongsan.buudien.vn e-commerce platform and MM Mega Market Group discussed to clarify the stages of production, logistics and distribution of lychee in 2025. Hong Xuan Cooperative shared its achievements in achieving GlobalGAP certification and difficulties in infrastructure and drought. MM Mega Market committed to consuming 2,000 tons of lychee, of which 60 tons will be exported, through the May-June promotion program.
Here, the units signed many cooperation agreements on lychee consumption such as: Cooperatives (Thanh Hai, Phi Dien, Luc Ngan Xanh, Hong Xuan) signed with Viettel Post, Central Retail, MM Mega Market, e-commerce platform Nongsan.buudien.vn and RATRACO, ensuring the supply of lychee to supermarkets, wholesale markets, e-commerce platforms, and export markets.
Affirming his commitment to supporting farmers and businesses in logistics, security and trade promotion, Mr. Duong Ngoc Chien, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Bac Giang province, called on partners to continue to accompany and expand distribution channels to bring Bac Giang lychee closer to global consumers, strengthen the Bac Giang lychee brand, and promise a successful 2025 crop.
