Two commune/ward leaders disciplined.

On August 4th, the Standing Committee of the Nha Trang City Party Committee ( Khanh Hoa province) issued a decision to discipline Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Mai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Tan Lap Ward People's Committee, by dismissing her from all her positions within the Party.

Previously, at its 46th session on July 19th, the Nha Trang City Party Committee's Inspection Committee reviewed, disciplined, and recommended disciplinary action against two Party members for violations.

Accordingly, considering the content, nature, extent, and consequences of the violation; based on the Party's regulations on disciplinary action against violating Party members, the Nha Trang City Party Committee's Inspection Committee decided to discipline Mr. Nguyen Quoc Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Thanh commune, with a reprimand.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Bao was irresponsible in land management and in implementing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TU, dated April 28, 2022, of the City Party Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership in land management, mineral resources, construction order, and urban aesthetics.

At the same time, it is requested that the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee consider and take disciplinary action against Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Mai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Tan Lap Ward People's Committee, for violating the Working Regulations of the Tan Lap Ward People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term; making dishonest declarations of assets and income; and violating the rules that Party members are not allowed to break.

In addition, Ms. Mai violated Regulation 101 of the Party Central Committee on the responsibility of setting an example for cadres and Party members, especially key cadres at all levels, affecting the leadership role of the Party organization, her reputation, causing negative public opinion and leading to complaints and denunciations.

On August 4th, the Standing Committee of the Nha Trang City Party Committee issued the aforementioned disciplinary decision against Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Mai.
