Groundbreaking ceremony of phase 2 of the Dong Dang (Lang Son) - Tra Linh ( Cao Bang ) expressway construction investment project.

The groundbreaking ceremony of the second phase of the project is an important milestone, adding motivation and confidence to the entire Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Cao Bang on the new development path. In the jubilant and excited atmosphere at the groundbreaking ceremony, delegates and local people expressed their belief and expectations for a new look when the project is completed.

Mr. Duong Quang Van, former Secretary of the Cao Bang City Party Committee (before the merger): For many years, the biggest bottleneck of the province has been its monopoly, as the province has not had a single external route large enough to transport goods. People produce many agricultural products and products, but they have difficulty selling them, and the high transportation costs limit their economic value. Therefore, when the Dong Dang - Tra Linh expressway was started and gradually completed, I was very happy and excited. Many people also shared that joy, all ethnic groups in the province were proud that their homeland was about to have a modern expressway.

We expect that after the second phase of the project is started, the authorities at all levels and construction units will mobilize maximum resources, remove difficulties, ensure progress and quality of the project, and meet the expectations of the people. Local agricultural products and goods will easily reach the domestic and international markets, and the province's tourism will also have the conditions to break through, attracting more investors. That is not only my wish but also the common desire of tens of thousands of people in the revolutionary origin. Ms. Dam Thi Huong, Quang Uyen commune: For the people in the province in general and us Quang Uyen people in particular, the Dong Dang - Tra Linh expressway is truly a road of aspiration. This desire has existed for a long time, because more than anyone else, we understand the difficulties and hardships in traveling and trading. When completed, the road will help people travel more conveniently, easily connecting with all regions of the country, no longer having to travel long distances.

Not only that, this is also the road that opens up economic development opportunities for the people. We believe that, from this highway, Cao Bang will change more and more, develop more prosperously, to be worthy of the revolutionary tradition, worthy of the homeland of the revolutionary origin.

Mr. Nong Van Ky, Head of Dia Tren Hamlet, Quang Uyen Commune: The Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway Phase 1 is almost completed, and today we continue to start construction on Phase 2, we are really happy and excited. The special thing is that the expressway passes right through our commune and hamlet, so people have more expectations and support. Personally, I will work with the local Party Committee and authorities to actively propagate and mobilize people to clearly understand the meaning and importance of the project, thereby promptly handing over the site, creating the most favorable conditions for the contractor to construct.

The people in the village are all in agreement, ready to give up land and relocate so that the project can be implemented on schedule. Everyone believes that when the road is completed, people's lives will be better, their children will have convenient travel, and goods and agricultural products will be easily brought to market. This is a long-term benefit for the whole community, so we fully support it.

Phase 2 of the Dong Dang (Lang Son) - Tra Linh (Cao Bang) Expressway Project has a total investment of more than 11,200 billion VND.

More than a year after Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh issued the order to start construction of phase 1, the Dong Dang - Tra Linh expressway project has marked important steps forward. From the spirit of the "Dong Khe Campaign 2024", new confidence and momentum are being aroused, spreading widely throughout the province. Today's expressway is not only a vital traffic route connecting Cao Bang with the whole country and the world, but also a road of trust and aspiration for change.
