"Strange but cool": Vegetable and lychee flower baskets cause a stir on the final day of the school year

Ms. Nguyen Thu Phuong, a parent of Ka Long Primary School (Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh Province) is passionately behind these special flower baskets.

Ms. Phuong shared that her family has been attached to this school since its establishment in 2018. With 4 children studying there, she has had 8 years accompanying the school, witnessing many memorable memories.

Talking about the idea of ​​creating unique flower baskets, Ms. Phuong said that it came from the cool green vegetable garden that her family has taken care of for the past 6 years. Being used to using home-grown vegetables as meaningful gifts for relatives and friends, she wanted to bring this closeness and practicality to teachers on the occasion of the end of the school year.

In particular, the lychee flower basket also has another meaning. In the summer weather, lychee is a specialty, a meaningful and practical gift. As a representative of the parents of grade 1 and a member of the school's representative board, Ms. Phuong hopes that this gift is not only unique but also usable, showing thoughtful care for both teachers and students.

The parent hopes that after the summary, the children can enjoy sweet lychees together.

Sharing about the connection between parents and schools, Ms. Phuong said that when parents accompany and care about school activities, especially in caring for andeducating their children, it will bring better results.

For her, the fact that her children attend school full-time means that teachers are important companions who are always close to them. This small gift is also a way for her to express her gratitude to the teachers who have devotedly taught her children.

Ms. Do Thi Nhung, the owner of the flower shop that created these works, shared that she was very happy to be trusted by the parents to take on the responsibility of creating this work.

“I was very impressed with the parents' enthusiasm and heart, so even though I received 40 other flower baskets that day, I still spent nearly 3 hours to complete this special work,” Ms. Nhung shared.
