This morning, July 25, the Government held an online conference to organize the Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day. Comrade Mai Van Chinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Steering Committee for the Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day chaired the conference.

At the Conference, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported on the progress of the exhibition of national achievements with the theme: 80 years of journey of independence - freedom - happiness. Ministries, branches and localities reported on the implementation process, advantages and difficulties in organizing the exhibition, participating in food stalls, art performances...

The exhibition is scheduled to take place for 9 days, from August 28 to September 5, 2025, at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi. The opening ceremony will be held at 9:00 on August 28, and the closing ceremony will be at 20:00 on September 5.

Delegates discussed, reviewed and gave opinions on the content outline and display design of 34 provinces, cities, industries, enterprises... on the basis of ensuring effectiveness, synchronization and unity in the overall design of the Exhibition. The designs were evaluated based on 7 criteria including: Consistent with the general theme of the Exhibition; clearly demonstrating the role and outstanding achievements of the unit; reasonable and scientific spatial layout; creativity, aesthetics and unique identity; interactivity, technology application (if any); feasibility in construction and operation...

For Lai Chau province, the Provincial People's Committee has established the Organizing Committee for the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); developed and issued a plan to participate in the exhibition; at the same time, sent a document to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requesting financial support for participation in the exhibition and sending ideas and 3D design mockups for the exhibition booth, aiming to introduce the province's outstanding achievements in the process of socio-economic development in recent times.

The Steering Committee assessed that many localities had good designs, clear layouts, demonstrating creativity and high-tech applications; harmonious colors, creating highlights and suitable for the theme. However, there are still many points that need to be noted by localities in issues of choosing typical images; color correlation in layout; display location, etc.

Concluding the Conference, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Steering Committee - Mai Van Chinh acknowledged the efforts of ministries, branches, localities, members of the Steering Committee and Sub-committees in implementing tasks in accordance with instructions. He emphasized that this is an important political event, which needs to be organized solemnly, on a large scale, effectively, commensurate with the stature of the 80th anniversary of National Day. Units are required to promote a sense of responsibility, high determination, urgent action, ensuring progress, quality and absolute safety. The organization and implementation must adhere to the principle of "6 clear: clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear time, clear results", proactively handling tasks and removing obstacles. Localities must review and take full responsibility for the content of the display. Fair activities and product display must comply with regulations, giving priority to reputable and typical enterprises that have contributed to the community and sustainable development...
