Agribank counter deposit interest rates for individual customers in May 2025

In May 2025, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) continued to maintain the capital mobilization interest rate for individual customers at all terms. The interest rate range for receiving interest at the end of the term ranges from 2.1% to 4.8%/year, unchanged from previous months.

Specifically, the 1 and 2 month terms apply an interest rate of 2.1%/year. The 3 to 5 month terms apply an interest rate of 2.4%/year.

For medium-term groups from 6 to 11 months, Agribank maintains the interest rate at 3.5%/year.

For longer terms such as 12, 13, 15 and 18 months, customers enjoy an interest rate of 4.7%/year. Meanwhile, the 24-month term is the term with the highest interest rate for individual customers at Agribank, currently listed at 4.8%/year.

For non-term deposits or payment deposits, Agribank maintains a low interest rate of 0.2%/year, mainly serving flexible liquidity needs.

Agribank counter deposit interest rates for corporate customers in May 2025

For corporate customers, Agribank also maintains the deposit interest rate schedule in May 2025, ranging from 2.1% to 4.5%/year, applicable for terms from 1 month to 24 months.

Specifically, deposits with a term of 1-2 months are subject to an interest rate of 2.1%/year. Terms from 3 to 5 months remain at 2.4%/year.

From 6 to 11 months, businesses that deposit savings will receive an interest rate of 3.4%/year, 0.1 percentage points lower than individual customers at the same term.

For terms from 12 months to 24 months, the interest rate for businesses is 4.5%/year, 0.3 percentage points lower than the interest rate for individuals at a 24-month term.

Interest rates for current and non-term deposits are also kept at 0.2% per year, applicable to both businesses and individuals.

In May 2025, Agribank did not adjust the interest rate schedule for both individual and corporate customers. The highest interest rate at this bank is 4.8%/year for individuals (24-month term) and 4.5%/year for businesses (12 months or more). Agribank has not yet implemented separate interest rates for online savings.
