On the morning of July 5th, a delegation from Nghe An province, led by Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 1838 - visited Mon Son commune to inspect the progress of the housing construction program for poor Dan Lai ethnic minority households in Co Phat and Bung villages, Mon Son commune; and handed over 455 land use right certificates to households in the two villages. Mr. Le Van Thanh, now over 90 years old, lives in extremely difficult circumstances, with his disabled son (born in 1975) who has limited working capacity, in a dilapidated thatched house. Mr. Le Van Thanh emotionally expressed his joy and gratitude to the Party, the State, and all levels of government for their continuous care and assistance, which has enabled his family to experience this momentous occasion – a "historic day for the family and the entire village." On this occasion, the delegation also presented gifts to 78 poor and single-parent households living in the two villages of Bung and Co Phat. On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts to encourage the construction teams and the task forces stationed in the villages to help the people have new houses and land titles. Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh highly appreciated the spirit, responsibility, and concerted efforts of the entire political system of Mon Son commune, including the Border Guard force, in supporting people in building houses. Due to the mountainous terrain, difficult transportation, and unpredictable weather, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Thi Minh Sinh requested the Party Committee, government, and mass organizations of Mon Son commune to continue to stay close to the people, be proactive in their work, and mobilize people to wholeheartedly support the policy of providing housing assistance to poor households in the area in a more comprehensive manner. In the immediate future, taking advantage of dry weather, she urged contractors to concentrate transportation of materials and mobilize manpower to accelerate the construction of houses for poor households according to the set requirements and plan.
