Khe Bo Hydropower Plant is expected to release water through the spillway from 8:00 p.m. on July 5.

The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense has just issued a notice that Khe Bo Hydropower Plant located in Tam Quang commune will operate and regulate the reservoir water to ensure the safety of the project.

According to Notice No. 103/TB.VP-PCTT, starting from 8:00 p.m. on July 5, 2025, Khe Bo Hydropower Plant will discharge water through the spillway with an expected flow rate of 500m³/s to 900m³/s, including discharge through the generator and through the spillway. This flow rate may change depending on the actual amount of water flowing into the reservoir.

This regulation operation is carried out in accordance with the approved reservoir operation procedure and inter-reservoir procedure in the Ca River basin.

The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue informs the People's Committees of the following wards and communes: Tam Quang, Con Cuong, Cam Phuc, Chau Khe, Mau Duc, Anh Son, Yen Xuan, Nhan Hoa, Anh Son Dong, Vinh Tuong, Thanh Binh Thinh, Do Luong, Bach Ngoc, Van Hien, Bach Ha, Thuan Trung, Luong Son, Cat Ngan, Dai Dong, Xuan Lam, Hoa Quan, Xuan Duong, Bich Hao, Kim Bang, Tam Dong, Kim Lien, Thien Nhan, Dai Hue, Nam Dan, Van An, Lam Thanh, Hung Nguyen, Yen Trung, Hung Nguyen Nam, Nghi Loc, Phuc Loc, Dong Loc, Trung Loc, Than Linh, Hai Loc, Tien Dong, Truong Vinh ward, Thanh Vinh ward, Vinh Hung ward, Vinh Phu ward, Vinh Loc ward, Cua Lo ward; Standing Offices of provincial departments, branches and sectors; Road Management Area II is informed to notify authorities at all levels, agencies, units, investors who are constructing along the river, on the river, owners of water transport vehicles and all people in the area downstream of Khe Bo Hydropower Plant to know and carry out necessary work, ensuring the safety of life and property of the State and the People.
