Reading is also integrated into the curriculum. The center regularly organizes book exchange sessions, in which teachers play the role of orienting and introducing suitable books; students then do their own research, translate a favorite passage from the book or write a summary of the content in English. Small discussions are held afterwards, helping students practice their presentation skills, respond and share their thoughts in a foreign language.
In addition, the center also has an activity of giving books to students with good academic achievements, as a way to encourage reading and spread the value of knowledge. With this approach, Artemis English not only creates an effective learning space, but also contributes to nurturing a reading culture among young people. The book collection here is mostly collected from book lovers, cultural researchers, and preserves many rare books, out of print, bearing the mark of time through paper material, font, and even handwritten notes of old readers. At Ba Ngan Art, books are not only knowledge, but also a form of living exhibition, where readers quietly contemplate, connect with themselves and their cultural roots. The concept of “integrating but not dissolving” is preserved as a core value, helping young people not only learn about the world but also understand and appreciate national identity.
The special feature is the interplay between books and exhibition objects, which together convey cultural depth, suggesting many layers of meaning about history, geography, psychology, heritage, geography, etc. The book's theme is about depth and inner thoughts, encouraging young people to think deeply instead of accessing superficial information. Student Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh (Hanoi University of Culture) shared: "I learned about Ba Ngan Art through social networks, and the first time I came, I felt the harmony. This space is very suitable for the field of study and cultural perspective that I pursue."
