In May 2025, MB will continue to maintain the savings interest rate schedule for individual customers that has been applied since the beginning of April. The interest rate at the counter ranges from 3.2% to 5.7%/year, depending on the term and deposit limit, applied in the form of receiving interest at the end of the term.

For deposits under VND1 billion, short terms such as 1 month and 2 months have interest rates of 3.2%/year and 3.3%/year respectively. Meanwhile, terms from 3 to 5 months are listed at 3.6%/year. These rates remain the same as last month.

For the medium-term group from 6 months to 11 months, MB applies an interest rate of 4.2%/year, which has remained stable in recent months. For the terms from 12 to 18 months, the interest rate has increased to 4.85%/year.

From 24 months onwards, MB applies the highest interest rate of 5.7%/year for individual customers depositing at the counter, regardless of the form of interest receipt.

For deposits of 1 billion VND or more, MB implements a separate interest rate range ranging from 3.3% to 5.7%/year, depending on the deposit term. This is a policy to favor customers with large balances.

Regarding online savings, MB did not specifically announce the difference in this survey, however, the bank still maintains interest rates equivalent to those at the counter and comes with many flexible options for interest receipt such as: prepayment, monthly interest payment, or at the end of the term with stable incentives.

Interest rates on deposits at MB bank counters for corporate customers in May 2025

In addition, for corporate customers, MB is applying interest rates from 3.0% to 5.5%/year for terms from 1 to 60 months.

The highest interest rate for organizations is 5.5%/year, applied from 36-month term or more.

Non-term deposits are currently maintained at 0.1%/year, while short-term deposits of 1 to 3 weeks are listed at 0.5%/year.
