Interest rates on deposits at Vietinbank counters in May 2025

In May 2025, VietinBank continues to maintain the capital mobilization interest rate schedule for individual customers, applicable for terms from 1 month to over 36 months. The interest rate range for receiving interest at the end of the term ranges from 1.6% to 4.8%/year.

Specifically, deposits with terms of 1 to less than 3 months are subject to a rate of 1.6%/year. From 3 to less than 6 months, the interest rate increases to 1.9%/year. Meanwhile, the group with terms of 6 months to less than 12 months is enjoying a fixed interest rate of 3.0%/year.

For terms from 12 months to under 24 months, VietinBank applies a fairly competitive interest rate of 4.7%/year. This is also a common interest rate in the medium- and long-term group.

In particular, the highest interest rate at VietinBank is currently 4.8%/year, applied to deposits with terms of 24 months or more, including terms of 36 months and over 36 months.

In addition, the bank also applies an interest rate of 0.1%/year for non-term deposits, and 0.2%/year for short-term deposits of less than 1 month.
