Born in 1980, with nearly 20 years dedicated to journalism, Ms. Ha Hong Hanh has continuously learned, improved her expertise, and enthusiastically traveled to remote areas to listen and write articles. Over time, the pen name Hong Hanh has become familiar to readers of Bac Kan Newspaper. With each journalistic work, she does not shy away from difficulties and dangers to bring readers the most truthful and objective perspective.
For example, during the Covid-19 pandemic, she proactively followed the directives of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and various departments and organizations in the province regarding Covid-19 prevention and control. Ms. Hanh personally visited those in isolation at Regiment 750, the Provincial Military School, and those returning from epidemic areas who were in isolation in Ba Be, Bac Kan City. Through this, she promptly reported and wrote articles about the pandemic prevention and control efforts, providing the public with official information and preventing panic and anxiety. Similarly, during hailstorms and other natural disasters, she did not hesitate to go to various locations to promptly report on the actual situation and raise public awareness.
At the end of 2020, journalist Hong Hanh was assigned to be the Head of the Editorial Secretariat. In her new role, she continued to learn and adapt to successfully complete her tasks. In 2022, she advised the Editorial Board on effectively implementing the digital publishing process for print newspapers. To date, 100% of all issues are produced using the digital publishing and editing system of the print newspaper, with only one proofread copy printed before going to print. Furthermore, drawing on her professional knowledge, between 2018 and 2022, Ms. Hanh developed five innovative ideas that have been effectively applied at the agency, one of which was rated "Good" by the Provincial Science Council.
Sharing more about her work, journalist Hong Hanh openly said: "Currently, I work in the Editorial Secretariat, so my immediate focus will be on advising the Editorial Board to contribute to improving the quality of reporters' articles in multimedia format, aiming to build a professional, modern, high-quality, and effective print and online newspaper that aligns with the trends of scientific and technological development, information, and communication. At the same time, I also try to arrange time to go on field trips to remote villages in the highlands to learn about the lives of ethnic minorities. My plan for the near future is to focus on researching and understanding the reality to write articles on the topic of protecting the ideological foundation of the Party."
