On the evening of September 19, Mr. Dinh Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, said that the province had issued a document directing the handling of the press's reports on the accusation that TV Primary School (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat) used dirty food in the meals of 720 boarding students.

Accordingly, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, the Department of Health, and the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong Province to intervene and thoroughly resolve the contents of the people's complaints.

At the same time, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested schools across the province and functional agencies to rectify the organization of school meals and apply standard procedures to ensure food safety and hygiene for students.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan said that the province will strictly handle any violations discovered, and at the same time require schools in the area to tighten the selection of suppliers, verify authenticity, and store samples according to regulations to protect students' health.

As reported by Tuoi Tre Online , at noon on September 16, many parents took their children out of TV Primary School, refusing to eat lunch because they were concerned about dirty food.

The reason is that on the evening of September 15, social networks appeared with many images said to be of food used at the school for boarding meals, along with a petition sent to the authorities requesting clarification of the quality of students' meals and the school's responsibility related to ensuring the quality of food for students' meals.

According to the petition, during the 2024-2025 school year, the TV Primary School's canteen repeatedly received food that did not meet quality standards, including pork and beef that was spoiled, rotten, and smelly. Despite complaints from the caterers and teachers, the school's leadership remained indecisive, causing parents to worry about the health of their students.

According to research, TV Primary School signed a food supply contract with 5 suppliers in Da Lat and Duc Trong areas.
