Lam Ha organizes Buddha's Birthday - Buddhist calendar 2569

At the ceremony, the representative of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Lam Ha district read the speech and Buddha's birthday message of the Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the meaning of Buddha's birthday in Buddhist calendar 2569 - Gregorian calendar 2025.

On behalf of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Ha district, I would like to present flowers of congratulations.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhung - Vice Chairman of Lam Ha District People's Committee sent to the Venerable Sangha, monks and nuns, and all Buddhists of the district best wishes and a happy, peaceful and blissful Buddha's Birthday in the light of compassion and wisdom of Buddha Shakyamuni.

He praised and acknowledged that under the guidance of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Lam Ha district, monks, nuns and Buddhists have made many positive contributions to the community and society such as maintaining morality, building a civilized, filial and benevolent lifestyle; participating in patriotic emulation movements, humanitarian and social charity activities, contributing to further beautifying the spirit of "Protecting the nation - bringing peace to the people" of Vietnamese Buddhism.

Vice Chairwoman of Lam Ha District People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhung hopes that monks, nuns and Buddhists in the district will continue to promote the spirit of religious solidarity, great national solidarity, always unite with Party committees and authorities at all levels to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas, charitable and humanitarian activities... to contribute to socio -economic development, building Lam Ha into a strong and comprehensive locality.

The Buddha's Birthday is a grand ceremony held annually on the 15th day of the fourth lunar month to commemorate the birth and remembrance of the Buddha - the founder of Buddhism. The ceremony has long become a major national festival, solemnly organized by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha. This is also an occasion to encourage Buddhist cultural traditions in the cause of national construction and defense; at the same time, it clearly demonstrates the religious policy of the Party and State.
