On October 9, people raising fish on the Ia Mo irrigation lake (Ia Mo commune, Chu Prong district, Gia Lai province) discovered that fish raised in cages had died in large numbers, floating white on the cages, for unknown reasons. Seeing the mass fish deaths, many people stayed up all night, pulling the cages to the deep water in the middle of the lake, but still could not save the situation.
