At the exhibition 80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness taking place at the Vietnam Exhibition Center ( Hanoi ), the exhibition space with the theme of Diplomacy in the Ho Chi Minh era: 80 years of dedicated service to the nation and people attracts hundreds of visitors every day.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its units brought hundreds of valuable images, documents and artifacts, carefully selected from many rich domestic and foreign sources, including many documents published for the first time.
Typical documents and artifacts published are: notebook of Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh - Head of the negotiating delegation at the Paris Conference during the days of negotiations in Paris (1973); resolution of the United Nations General Assembly on admitting Vietnam as an official member (September 20, 1977); letter exchange dated August 5, 1995 between Foreign Minister Nguyen Manh Cam and US Secretary of State Warren M. Christopher confirming July 12, 1995 as the date of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries; border demarcation agreements between Vietnam and Laos and Cambodia; border treaty between Vietnam and China; resolution of the National Assembly on ratifying the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (June 23, 1994)...
Through that, people and international friends will better understand the glorious 80-year journey of Vietnam's revolutionary diplomacy founded, directly directed and trained by President Ho Chi Minh.
