For the first time, Quang Ninh organizes Yen Tu Autumn Festival

VHO - On the morning of October 5, at Truc Lam Palace, Yen Tu historical relic and scenic spot, Yen Tu Ward People's Committee coordinated with the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Quang Ninh province, Yen Tu historical relic and scenic spot management board, Journalists Association, Provincial Literature and Arts Association and Tung Lam Development Joint Stock Company solemnly held the opening ceremony of Yen Tu Autumn Festival 2025 with the theme "Autumn meditation colors".

Buddhist monks and nuns attend the festival

The festival is held in the context of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac relic complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage (July 2025). This is also a practical activity to celebrate the success of the 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress.

Organizing the Autumn Festival is the concrete action to realize Resolution No. 12-NQ/DU dated September 23, 2025 of the Yen Tu Ward Party Committee on developing services, tourism, cultural industry, heritage economy associated with preserving and promoting the value of Yen Tu World Cultural Heritage.

Delegates attending the Festival

The event affirmed the aspiration to turn Yen Tu into a leading national tourism - cultural - ecological center, striving to welcome 1.5 million visitors/year by 2030, with tourism revenue of over 1,000 billion VND.

During the opening program, delegates and visitors enjoyed unique and attractive art performances imbued with traditional culture.

On this occasion, Yen Tu Ward People's Committee organized the awarding of 11 prizes, including: 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes for the authors and groups of authors who won the Yen Tu Ward Logo Creation Contest.

After 2 months of implementation, the Organizing Committee of the Yen Tu Ward Logo Creation Contest received 109 works from 50 authors. As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to author Nguyen Duy Thanh.

In the sacred atmosphere towards the 717th anniversary of the Buddha King Tran Nhan Tong's Nirvana, right at the opening ceremony, delegates and visitors experienced special activities such as: National peace and prosperity prayer ceremony and art program honoring heritage values;

Awarding the contest to create the Yen Tu Ward Brand Identity (Logo); Launching the VR360 digital tourism product about the relic complex with the experience tours "Dawn on top of Dong Pagoda", tea meditation, walking meditation; Displaying many photographic and painting works about Yen Tu with the cultural space of the Dao Thanh Y Village and vegetarian cuisine.

The Yen Tu Autumn Festival 2025 will take place from now until the end of December 2025 with a series of cultural - sports - tourism activities organized such as: Yen Tu Heritage Marathon - "Touching the heritage area", human chess tournament - "Ky Vuong Yen Tu"; Bonsai and ornamental plant festival; art programs "Dieu Am Yen Tu", the 717th anniversary of Buddha King Tran Nhan Tong's nirvana.

Previously, in September 2025, Yen Tu ward successfully organized the Yen Tu Ultra Trail Tournament - "Discovering heritage, spreading the essence" with 1,068 athletes from 34 provinces/cities and 5 countries participating, recognized in the international ITRA scoring system.

Art program to welcome the festival

The Yen Tu Autumn Festival 2025 with the theme "Autumn meditation colors" is not only the first large-scale cultural and tourism event organized by Yen Tu ward, but also a strong message about the determination to "Be proud of heritage - Live with heritage - Get rich from heritage".

This is an important initial step for Yen Tu to form the brand of "4-season tourism", "Heritage economy - Sustainable development", spreading the sacred values ​​and quintessence of Vietnamese culture to the international community.
