Regarding the plan, the whole team will have a month of training in Hanoi, including some friendly matches, before going to Japan for training with about three matches, then returning to participate in the 2026 U17 Asian qualifiers.

The upcoming training trip to Japan will be very beneficial for the young players.

According to the plan, U17 Vietnam will train in Japan from November 5 and have 3 friendly matches with opponents arranged by the Japan Football Federation. On November 16, coach Cristiano Roland and his team will return home to enter the final preparation stage.

In the 2026 AFC U17 qualifiers, Vietnam U17 is in Group C with Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong (China), Macau (China) and the Northern Mariana Islands.

The matches will take place from November 22 to 30 at two stadiums: Vietnam Youth Football Training Center (Hanoi) and PVF Youth Football Training Center ( Hung Yen ).

The AFC's awarding of the right to host the group stage by VFF not only gives home field advantage to U17 Vietnam in the goal of winning a ticket to the final round, but also adds motivation for the team to pursue the dream of participating in the FIFA U17 World Cup 2026.
