Outstanding photographs depicting the coal industry and miners are on display at the exhibition " Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group: 30 Years of Construction, Innovation, and Development" at 3 Duong Dinh Nghe Street, Hanoi. This is the successful result of a three-month competition of the same name.

The artwork "The Ship Leaving the Port" by author Ho Xuan Dung from Cua Ong Coal Mining Company won first prize.

The competition, professionally sponsored by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, received 1,675 entries after more than three months of launching, including 1,563 single photos and 112 photo sets from 146 authors. The judging panel selected 88 outstanding works for exhibition, including 11 winning entries from the "TKV - 30 Years of Construction, Innovation and Development" photo contest.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lan, Chief of the Office of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group (TKV) and Head of the Organizing Committee of the photo contest, said: "The entries and winning works on display not only depict the beauty of the labor of cadres and workers in the coal industry but also truthfully reflect the Group's continuous efforts in building, innovating, and developing sustainably. At the same time, they affirm TKV's position as one of the pillars ensuring national energy security and its role in the country's development."
