Binh Dong Marathon 2023 with the theme "Imprint of green land"

Recently, at Ca Ninh Residential Area, Thuong Hoa Village, Binh Dong Commune, Binh Son District, the Binh Dong Marathon 2023 took place with the theme "Imprint of the Green Land". The race attracted over 250 professional and non-professional athletes in Quang Ngai province to participate. Participating in the race was athlete Pham Thi Binh - the barefoot female champion of Seagame 27.
Mr. Le Quang Phuc, Secretary of the Youth Union of Binh Dong commune, said that the race with a distance of 10km, each person registered to participate in the race with different reasons. Some wanted to experience a new running route, some wanted to add more medals to their collection, some ran to exercise, to overcome themselves... And with a passion for sports , runners in Binh Son district actively participated in the race.

Mr. Phuc shared that the beautiful nature and interesting, poetic routes along the Tra Bong River through the marathon race create a ripple effect, promote and boost tourism development in Binh Son district. At the same time, through the race activities, it is a bridge to have more resources for the Youth Union - Association to join hands to help those in difficult circumstances in life through fundraising activities on the race track.
Mr. Ngoc Thach and his wife, who work in Binh Son district, regularly participate in sharing races. They participate with the purpose of improving their health and experiencing the running route right in their locality. Spreading the spirit of physical exercise and sports in the community and making an important contribution to promoting the image, homeland, people, and tourism potential of Binh Son to friends inside and outside the province.

BinhSon Runners running club of Binh Son district gives gifts to students in difficult circumstances

In 2023, the Binh Son District Media-Culture-Sports Center organized the establishment of Binh Son Runners Running Club in Binh Son District to create an environment for physical training, sports, exchange, connection, and spread the passion for running among Club members, creating a useful playground, contributing to improving the spiritual life of everyone. After announcing the decision, the Club organized the program "Returning to the homeland river", attracting over 200 athletes to participate in a run with a distance of over 8km. From Dong Nam Residential Area, Chau O Town to Binh Duong Commune and vice versa.
In addition, the Center for Communication - Culture - Sports of Binh Son district organized the Tho An Pass Cross-Country Race in Binh Son district in 2023. The race had 111 athletes from 24 units, communes, towns and clubs. Men and their male teammates ran 7km; women and their female teammates ran 4km. The starting point for men was at Dong Tranh bridge in Binh An commune, the starting point for women was at Binh An commune People's Committee and the race to conquer Tho An pass finished at Tuyen Tung Base, Tho An, Binh An commune.

“Binh Son district has many suitable conditions such as a well-invested traffic infrastructure system, routes with many famous and beautiful landscapes such as Bau Ca Cai, Ca Ninh coconut forest, Tho An pass route, Tuyen Tung base, Tho An, Binh An commune, which are convenient for designing and organizing running routes. Through running races, we promote inspiration for healthy living, useful living, and positive living in the community,” Mr. Giang expressed.
