The Olympic competition on Marxist-Leninist sciences and Ho Chi Minh's ideology is a key content of the social sciences and humanities education activities in 2025, aiming to evaluate the quality of teaching Marxist-Leninist sciences and Ho Chi Minh's ideology; exchange learning experiences between battalions; promote the movement of research, teaching and learning of social sciences and humanities in general and Marxist-Leninist sciences and Ho Chi Minh's ideology.

Colonel Nguyen Dinh Phuong, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Technical College 1, delivered the opening speech of the contest.

There are three teams participating in the competition: Steel Steering Wheel Team (Company 4, Battalion 1); Weapons Team (Company 7, Battalion 2); Ammunition Team, students of course 50, affiliated with the Ministry of Public Security , intermediate ammunition (from Company 5, Battalion 2).

According to the Organizing Committee, the teams will compete in five parts: Team introduction; answering mandatory essay questions; multiple choice test; crossword puzzle and eloquence test.

For the sections Introducing the team; answering mandatory essay questions; answering multiple choice questions and solving crossword puzzles, the score is calculated with a coefficient of 1. The speech section is calculated with a coefficient of 2.

In the Team Introduction section, the teams invested in developing the script content, outlining the characteristics, tasks, and training majors; main content, issues of practical significance in researching and studying Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's thought, and socio-political awareness. Some teams used an artistic and impressive form of dramatization for the contest.

For the compulsory essay questions, multiple choice questions, and crossword puzzles, the teams actively studied the textbooks and documents; proactively asked for opinions from lecturers and teachers of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, organized review sessions, mastered the content, and answered most of the questions correctly from the Organizing Committee of the contest.

In the speech contest, the teams developed appropriate speech topics, in accordance with the contest regulations. The content and structure were reasonable, coherent, logical and scientific; during the speech process, the contestants grasped and mastered the content, had good presentation methods, loud and clear voices, and skillfully combined language and expression, creating close communication.

In particular, the teams effectively combined presentation methods, making the speech content more rich, vivid, attractive, and attracting the attention of listeners.

The contest has truly become a broad political activity, with profound propaganda and education significance on Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought, the Party's viewpoints and guidelines, resolutions and directives of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, the General Department of Logistics and Engineering and Military Technical College 1 in recent years.

The audience enthusiastically cheered for the teams.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Steel Steering Wheel team (Company 4, Battalion 1); the second prize to the Weapons team (Company 7, Battalion 2); and the third prize to the Ammunition team (Company 5, Battalion 2).

In the speech contest, Sergeant Dinh Thanh Nam, Weapons team (Company 7, Battalion 2) excellently won first prize individually.
