In response to International Children's Day on June 1st and the 2026 Month of Action for Children, the Youth Union and Children's Union branches at all levels in Ha Tinh province have simultaneously implemented many practical and meaningful activities aimed at children, especially those in difficult circumstances and in remote areas.
According to the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union, the entire province organized nearly 200 activities in various forms, such as summer opening ceremonies, the "Happy Children's Day on June 1st" program, cultural exchanges, group games, and summer activities in residential areas. These activities attracted a large number of children, creating a joyful and lively atmosphere right from the beginning of the summer vacation.

Besides providing enriching recreational activities, emphasis is also placed on raising awareness and equipping children with essential life skills such as preventing drowning and injuries, self-protection skills, and safe social media use. These are considered practical measures in the context of the summer vacation, which poses many potential risks to children.

In particular, activities to care for disadvantaged children continued to be widely implemented. On this occasion, the Youth Union and Children's Union at all levels awarded more than 800 gifts, scholarships, bicycles, and "Study Corners for Children" to poor children and children with special difficulties in the province. The total resources mobilized for these activities reached nearly 300 million VND.

In Kim Hoa commune, thanks to social contributions from youth union branches and benefactors, young union members have joined hands to build a "Study Corner for Children" model. The desks and bookshelves were completed with cash contributions, materials, and labor from union members. This year, on June 1st, two study corners were donated to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, contributing to creating better learning conditions for them.
Representatives from the Kim Hoa Commune Youth Union stated that the model will continue to be maintained and expanded in the future to help more disadvantaged students have a favorable learning environment, further motivating them to strive for success.

In Tran Phu ward, the local Youth Union, in coordination with philanthropists, visited and presented gifts to children at the Ha Tinh Orphanage. Practical gifts totaling 17 million VND were handed directly to the children. Beyond providing material support, this activity also brought joy, encouragement, and love to these less fortunate individuals.
Through this series of activities, the youth of Ha Tinh continue to affirm their role in accompanying children, contributing to building a safe and healthy living environment so that all children are cared for, nurtured, and have the opportunity for comprehensive development.
