Leaders of the Ministry of Public Security commend the Criminal Police Department for solving the Binh 'Kiem' case.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security, sent a letter of commendation to the Director of the Criminal Police Department for the coordinated efforts in solving the Binh "Kiem" case, acknowledging and praising the Department's achievements.

On December 9th, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security, sent a letter of commendation to the Director of the Criminal Police Department for their collaborative efforts in solving the Binh "Kiem" case.

Earlier in November, the Criminal Police Department (Ministry of Public Security), with a proactive and decisive spirit, led and coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security's representative office in Laos, along with several professional units and local police, to arrest 16 individuals involved in the illegal manufacture, sale, transportation, and storage of military weapons; fraud and appropriation of property; organizing and participating in gambling; and thwarting professional criminal activities that endangered the lives and health of citizens. They seized 11 guns, 1,400 rounds of ammunition, and numerous other documents and evidence related to the case.

In connection with the case, Phạm Đức Bình, also known as Bình “Kiểm” (54 years old, from Quảng Ninh ), a notorious gang leader from the past, is one of the 16 individuals arrested.

This is an outstanding achievement, demonstrating the ingenuity, professional acumen, and high sense of responsibility of the Criminal Police Department in implementing the directives of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security on preventing and combating organized crime, transnational crime, and crimes involving the use of weapons and supporting tools.

The results of the special investigation reflected the close and effective coordination between the Ministry's operational units and local police forces; at the same time, it deterred and prevented crime, and strengthened the people's trust in the People's Police force.

"On behalf of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security Ministry and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, I acknowledge and commend the achievements of all comrades. I request that the Criminal Police Department continue to coordinate with the police forces of relevant units and localities to expand the investigation of the case, consolidate documents and evidence to strictly prosecute the suspects in accordance with the law."

"We hope that you will build upon the achievements you have made and continue to achieve even more outstanding victories and accomplishments in your work and combat," stated the commendation letter from Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Long.
