Leaders of Thu Dau Mot Ward, Ho Chi Minh City: Coffee and breakfast with residents

On the morning of August 5, at the campus of Quarter 4 (Le Hong Phong Street), Thu Dau Mot Ward (HCMC), the program "Morning Coffee with the People" was organized to meet and listen to the thoughts and opinions of local people.

Attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Thu Cuc, Party Secretary - Chairman of the Ward People's Council; comrade Tran Phong Luu, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee; representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, along with the Heads and Deputy Heads of the Front Work Committee and a large number of people in Ward 4.

At the meeting combined with a “zero-dong” breakfast, many opinions were raised about the advantages and difficulties in the process of operating the two-level government model, especially practical suggestions to improve the effectiveness of propaganda and mobilization of people. Notable among them were the introduction and guidance on using the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen App and improving the process of handling administrative procedures after the arrangement of administrative units.

There were quite a few local people participating in the morning coffee with the leaders of Thu Dau Mot ward.

The “Morning Coffee with the People” model is organized periodically on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays every week, implemented in all 40 neighborhoods of the ward and lasting until October 2025. This is considered an important bridge between the government and the people in the initial stages of implementing the two-level urban government model, helping to promptly grasp and resolve difficulties arising from the grassroots.
